The ACT project

The ACT|Project is an international research project looking at how classroom techniques can impact on young people’s attitudes and behaviours related to civic competences.

Launched in February 2017, the project involves ministries, public organisations, research institutes and schools from across four European countries : France, Spain, Greece and England.

Participating teachers in each country will have advanced access to innovative training and teaching materials. The project will then be evaluated to assess the effectiveness of these methods. A comparison of results from each country will help draw conclusions about how the methods may be implemented in different educational contexts. Project results will be available in 2020.

The Erasmus+ initiative

This research project is funded by Erasmus+ under ‘Key Action 3: Support for policy reform.’ Key Action 3 provides grants for a wide variety of actions aimed at stimulating innovative policy development, policy dialogue and implementation, and the exchange of knowledge in the fields of education, training and youth.
